All of the Items on our store are unique, one of a kind antiques and/or hand made pieces, and as such are sold as photographed. We ensure as much as possible to display a wide selection of photos, highlighting the unique details and imperfections of every piece on our site. We also provide detailed descriptions of each item, list any imperfections that we find at the same time. Whilst we do our very best to ensure that we thoroughly inspect and capture every item authentically, we cannot guarantee that we will not miss certain details. Products are sold as-is, as part of the agreement of sale. This is the nature of antiques, where each item may be significant in its age and unique in its wear. This is one of the things that we love about Antiques, as do the vast majority of people who buy them.
When specific details are provided as to the materials, age or origin of a product, please consider these a ‘best guess’ based on the information provided to us and our research into the nature of the products. As such, we can never guarantee these details as a statement of fact. Responsibility for the satisfaction about the accuracy of this information sits solely with the buyer.
Refunds will only be offered in instances where an item is damaged in transit - whereby the condition in which the product arrives is significantly different from how it was photographed, and how it left our care. In instances where a product is damaged in transit, you must notify us within 24 hours of the receipt of the item arriving, so that we can best assist you. Items damaged more than 24 hours after their arrival are not eligible for refunds, as we cannot be confident that damage occurred in the time after the items safe arrival.
Refunds will not be offered for any reason in instances where the buyer is dissatisfied with their purchase, due to the aesthetic or nature of a piece after the point of sale. We reserve the right to cancel and refund any orders made through our store, at any time prior to the shipping of the product, for any reason. This is to protect against fraudulent practices and ensure that we can honour our terms of service.
Items are usually dispatched within 14 days of purchase, depending on courier availability - however this is an estimate rather than a guarantee, and does not take into account delivery time. We will always work to coordinate delivery with couriers so that you receive your item as soon and as safely as possible. Refunds will not be offered for any reason due to delays in the delivery of an item purchased from our store, in situations where delivery is delayed.
