Pair of Early 19th Century Chintz Cushions
A beautiful pair of cushions made in a timeless fabric. The fabric is early 19th century chintz appliqué on a background of cotton and lined with linen. The chintz seems to have been taken from different fabrics, some 18th century, all exquisitely printed and completely hand-sewn, but with age marks and stains, as shown.
The cushion pad is new, however the fabric is antique so some imperfections are to be expected given the age of the fabric.
